CSEET Full Information

CSEET stands for Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test. It is a mandatory test for admission to the Executive Program of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Here is the full information about CSEET:

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination are eligible to appear for CSEET. There is no age limit for appearing in the test.

Registration: Candidates need to register themselves for CSEET on the official website of ICSI. The registration process involves filling up an online application form, uploading the necessary documents, and paying the registration fee.

Examination: CSEET is a computer-based test consisting of four papers - Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs. Each paper is of 50 marks, and the total duration of the test is 3 hours.

Exemption: Candidates who have passed the Foundation Program of ICSI or have cleared the Foundation Program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) are exempted from appearing in CSEET.

Results: The result of CSEET is declared on the official website of ICSI within a few days of the test. Candidates who qualify in CSEET are eligible for admission to the Executive Program of ICSI.

Training: After completing the Executive Program, candidates need to undergo 15 months of practical training, which includes training in a company, under a company secretary in practice, or in a government department.

Membership: After passing the Professional Program, candidates are eligible to become a member of ICSI. They need to apply for membership and pay the prescribed fee.
